Dr. Ben Lamp DVM
Dr. Ben Lamp was born and raised in Sioux Falls, SD. He always had an interest in science and medicine while growing up and found that he loved working with animals. Ben attended South Dakota State University (Go Jacks) where he received his undergraduate degree in Biology. He continued his education at Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated with a DVM in 2015. After graduation, Dr. Ben Lamp returned to his home state and took his first job in Vermillion, SD. His experiences included working at multiple veterinary clinics and the Great Plains Zoo. Dr. Lamp and his wife (Dr. Jessica Cozzolino) have two children, Colby and Elianna, and a Rat Terrier named Riesling. Dr. Lamp enjoys spending his free time with family and friends, golfing, and enjoying the summer at his family’s lake cabin in Minnesota. His professional interests include surgery, dermatology, and internal medicine. He is always growing his knowledge base and looks forward to partnering with you in caring for your pets.
